The company exclusively imports six footwear brands: Birkenstock, Tatami, Papillio, Birki's, Footprints and Alpro. Its Novato, California location is headquarters for importing, distribution, sales and marketing of Birkenstock footwear products across the United States. With approximately 250 employees, this 100 percent employee-owned company serves a retail network of more than 3000 retail accounts, and more than 200 specialty stores, the only licensed, full-service Birkenstock retailers. The company also provides online ordering for consumers through a virtual storefront partnership with select specialty stores.
