My best friend and I made the mistake of shopping here. I bought extensions after being promised up and down by a woman named Dolores that they were the premier and best extensions and she promised id love them or shed let me return and try out another brand. this is my first time buying extensions and boy was i duped. They were crap plain and simple. I went back with my girlfriend today as she was supposed to pick up a special order (which kiss beauty denied ever having even though I witnessed her order from dolores) and the owner said to me that my problem with the extensions wasnt his fault and he wouldnt help me out. then he was SO rude to my friend and he just turned and walked away from us both. this man was so very rude it was disgusting. were both in our late 50s and we deserved more respect than this company has for its customers - which is no respect at all.We will never go back. dont waste your time. a 2nd friend of ours also had problems with a hair dye she bought there and received the same treatment when she went in to complain. they sell counterfeit Louis Vuitton so its evident all their other products are cheap Chinese knockoffs with a zero % satisfaction guarantee. dont waste your money like we did.youll regret shopping here

i am the stupide friend that suggested my friends Marie and Sandy visit Beauty Land. I was also taken by the employees of this store. I was waiting for my grandson next door at karate and thought id poke around Beauty Land. A woman came right up to me and was immediately suggesting hair colors and brands she highly recommended i try. she really seemed to know her stuff and she talked me into becoming a red head like I was daydreaming about. The dye she sold me on was a "permanent" variety and it turned out to be complete garbage. Not only was it fading within 2 days, but it started to fadeto a horrendous pinkish color. Im in my late 50's and punk rock girl pink hair isn't cute on me. When I brought my grandson to karate later that week, I brought the dye packaging back with me so I could see if Beauty Land would rectify the situation. Of course, the woman who couldnt have been more helpful trying to make the sale, quickly changed back to Chinese language only and suddenly "couldn't understand me" and said I must talk to the owner in their New London store. I was so angry at this point, that I did visit the New London store later in the week. The owner was awfully short with me and just rude as he could be. I explained to him what happened and what his salesgirl had told me. His curt and obnoxiously rude answer was You Use Wrong. Not My Problem.

So I will NEVER recommend this store or its rude obnoxious owner to anyone ever again. Beware if you shop here. You will waste your tim and money and you won't get what you paid for.
