King Car Audio

If I could rate this business as zero stars I would. At first I thought this looked like a reputable business and decided to go there to get a new stereo installed in my jeep. It worked for about a year and then it started to cut in and out. Before I go into what happened next, let me say that they drilled a useless hole in my center console and plugged it with a inoperative LED light.



So when the stereo started cutting in and out, I took it to a new mechanic who I trust. He took the paneling off and found out that it looks like a three year old had put this thing together. The speakers were held in with duct tape, the connections were taped and not properly connected. The connectors were all crushed and no wonder it did not work. I now have to have the entire car rewired.



Also, to add the IRS should look into these guys. They asked me to pay cash only, there was no record that I was there, no receipt, nothing. I have nothing to prove that they did this terrible work.



Consumers PLEASE BEWARE!

Nice, friendly sales staff. Put my subs in quick and did it the way I wanted it to be done. No complaints

Trust me - stay away from this place. If you do business with them - you'll regret it. I did find a local insaller who's excellent, trustworthy and basically fixed everything King Car Audio did to my truck - try Spanking Clean Auto Sound in Norwalk...and stay away from King Car Audio

for some reson i have gone to king car audio multiple times and each time i have gone something always ends up wrong, there was one time when i went to get speakers installed, and they installed them only problem was that they switched the one i brought them with a pair that they sold at there store. when i askd them hy they did that they said because the 6 1/2 ones that ARE designed for my car did not fit well then i brought them to Darien auto-body (premiere Auto Sports) (also does audio equipment and they put them right in--- ill rate them 6 stars guy who does the systems there knows exactly what Hes talking about and does his best not just throw everything together to get the cash like KING CAR AUDIO THEY SUCK) ---go anywhere else DO NOT GO TO KING CAR the owner does not have a clue what hes talking about they dont connect the wires properly they will use glue to keep a speaker in place- also happened to me I WILL STRONGLY RECECOMMED PRIMMER AUTO SPORT IN DAREIN CT RIGHT BY THE RAILROAD
