        A Deli Worthy Of New Yorkers, not just us Valley people

        My deli-loving friends rave about this place as the best delicatessen on the west coast. I am not the connoisseur of delis that they are, but I'm convinced they must be right.



        There is great kosher style stuff, like huge matzo balls, chopped liver, brisket, etc. They also serve everything American, and absolutely delicious meaty skirt steak tacos. (By the way, brisket absolulely works on a taco, too, and they do it.) The portions are huge in typical deli style. (The chicken in a pot could feed a family of four, and I'm not exaggerating.)



        Despite its seedy location, respectable people come here from miles around, and the place is always packed.



        The family opened a second (huge) location in Westlake Village in 2006 (if I remember the date correctly). It was an instant success and has been a favorite at all hours ever since.
