Bell's Bicycle

Zero Stars on this horribly run business. I was in while the owner was sitting cussing and swearing about something using all types of foul and racial language. Says he hates his Aventura a-hole customers and his store was sucking his life away. Well Mr Bell, us Aventura A-Holes don't need you either.

I suggest City bikes or lees in Hallendale at least they are helpful and CLEAN!

After endless online searching, and countless visits to most of the bike shops in my area I stumbled upon Bell's coincidentally while out running errands. I walked in and browsed around for a couple of minutes, and when it was obvious I had no clue what I was looking for, someone came to the rescue. I haven't been on a bike since childhood, and had no idea about the different types of bikes, or what they were used for. All of this was explained to me and after a few minutes of question and answer, I decided that I was looking for a road bike. I am a fairly short woman, and finding a bike to fit my small frame proved to be a huge task! He showed me what they had in stock, and let me look through a couple of catalogs. There was NO pressure even after spending so much time with me! I ended up buying my bike elsewhere (ONLY because they didn't carry and couldn't order what I wanted). I was quite impressed with the staff at Bell's, and decided to get all the other cycling essentials from them (helmet, headlight/taillight, bottle cages, gloves, and gear). When I walked into the shop everyone seemed to recognize me, and they were excited to hear of my bike purchase even though it wasn't theirs! I tried on every helmet they had in the store, and finally decided to purchase the first one they had me try on. I was sure they would be irritated with my indecisiveness! And after gathering everything I needed, I was SHOCKED to see that I was given a DISCOUNT, and they even threw in some quite expensive freebies! Bell's is the ONLY bike shop I will go to now! These guys are by far the most friendly helpful, and informative people I have encountered in the business!
