If you call north Las Vegas police and you've been hurt just be hurt cause they ain't going to do anything they're the worst at they're job

I was pulled over for failure to stop at a stop sign by one car. After sitting in my car for 10 mins, a second car pulls up. They chat and smile for about 15 mins, then after about a total of 40 minutes. The person who pulled me over hands me a citation with a court date. I am a 40 year-old woman and it was over 100 degrees. I am not saying that all of NLV PD is bad but this was unprofessional.

Oh thank you North Las vegas Police for the 10 block detour that could have easily been avoided, not only was the accident on the opposite side of where we needed to pull into our residence may karma shine on you

First off, I would like to start by saying I have a great respect for anyone who serves, as a Military Veteran and someone with family who are law enforcement I find it very profound. With that being said, the North Las Vegas motorcycle officers are rude, short, and unforgiving. I have been pulled over twice since arriving in Las Vegas a year ago. Both of those were for speeding, admittedly my fault. In both cases the motorcycle officer walked up, asked for my info, stated I was speeding, walked back to his bike, and then proceeded to hand me a ticket. Not once did either ask why I was speeding, have any sort of common courtesy as humans, or exchange any pleasantries. They just come off as ticket writing thugs. I even asked if they were in the business of EVER writing a warning, he stated NO, not when they are trying to slow speeders in a certain area. This is where it becomes a bit douchey. The area he speaks of just so happens to the "main" pipeline for all military, veterans, and government employees working at Nellis AFB. They sit just south of 215 on Lamb before you get to the 15. They sit there all morning and afternoon writing tickets, I have witnessed this go on the entire year I have been here, not protecting anyone or serving any purpose other than piling in money for North Las Vegas. It's pathetic and pretty horrible overall. Why are they not out doing something useful that our taxes pay for, other than generating more revenue for them to justify their jobs? Time for NLVPD motorcycle cops to get a real job or start doing theirs better than they currently are. Ticket warnings are allowed, I've seen it happen before. It is just as effective in slowing speeders, your presence is felt either way.

If I could give the North Las Vegas police unit no stars.... I would.



My brother went to jail for the first time in his life and was charged with a misdemeanor. Not ever having to have dealt with this before my mom and I called into the station where my brother was actually at. The officer that picked p the phone was surly and mean, like a woman bleeding heavily on their period. We asked the cops where to pick my brother up I told me they didn't know. When we asked when will he be released the answer was also I don't know, but they sure as hell can recite the charges if need be. Not only that, my mother was a bit out of sorts, (this being her first time having to deal with it) the cop angrily replied I DON'T HAVE TIME FOR THIS.



These are people's family members , brothers,sisters,mothers, boyfriends whatever! The point being, despite the charges these people are charged with- they also treat their inmates as animals. No food. No water. No beds. Tight conditions, but in 100 degrees and higher. If I'm not mistaken that is how one would have a heat stroke (and a possible LAWSUIT on their hands)



Still waiting for my brother to be released even though the courts told me over 12 hours ago that he would be released, the north las Vegas police continue to play dumb.

This police dept. are the CRIMINALS



First of all they are the city and police dept are financially bankrupt because they are not educated enough to run the dept.



Solution - STEAL from the public. They write tickets left and right, prey on low income people, serve warrants, push people around all in the name of the law - right.



They need to make money for their incompetance and inadaquecies.



I'm writing to the FBI - to monitor this dept.



The police, marshalls & judge push the public around and ACT tough - these people are not man enough to make it in the real world.



REAL losers, very unethical, unhonorable, uneducated, bullies and again they act tough to cover up being spineless cowards
