JZL Designs Cabinetry & Countertops

JZL designs and builds custom wood products. they are also able to do repairs on your furniture and antiques. They are very knowledgable about restoreing your family treasures to your satisfaction. i took an antique rocker from my grandmothers to them. The rocker really needed some help and I really was not sure it could be saved. They did a remarkable job in restoring is so we can use it and enjoy it and keep the family heirloom in the family.

John & Linda are out for the money and not interested in pleasing the customer. We bought an Entertainment Center for almost $3,500.00 The cabinet was suppose to be made out of walnut with an espresso finish. We were told that our cabinet would be ready in 2 - 3 weeks and take 4 - 5 hours to install. After 3 weeks my wife called to see what was going on. Linda said it was ready and they would send an e-mail to review the plan and to sign off on it. John changed the design and I called him up to tell him we wanted the original design. The following Monday his people came to install the cabinet. Called Linda with a problem and see said she would get with John and get back with me. Never did. The continues to install. The inside cabinet was a different color with two different tones of espresso on the outside. John came over to look and told him the black needed to be redone. Two weeks later; John's people came over to fix the problem and finish the cabinet as they did not have everything when they came. The finisher was going to make everything look black instead of making it lighter. The crown was different. I talked to John about color; particle board and different crown molding. John told me that I didn't know anything about cabinets and what was out their. He told me that he did not have time to sit down and talk about this. He asked if I wanted a refund and knocked off almost $400.00. John always had an excuse why he did what he did. He does not understand that the customer should have the final say.

Not worth the money. The results were less than stellar to say the least.

We recently completed our Kitchen remodel using JZL Design. John and Linda are absolutely wonderful to work with. We appreciated their honesty and expertise. Our project was on budget and installed as promised. The quality of the work was excellent. Our Kitchen is BEAUTIFUL! Thanks to John and Linda!

My cabinets were resurfaced and they look wonderful! What a difference in what my kitchen looks like now! WOW! JZL Designs made sure everything was perfect as they did the install. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a kitchen makeover!

I am absolutely STUNNED at how beautiful our entertainment center is. John finished it yesterday and we sit and stare at it. My entire house looks different and pales in comparison to this piece. It's without a doubt the most beautiful piece of furniture we have. I recommend John, his knowledge and workmanship so very highly. OMG! I just had my kitchen cabinets refinished by JZL Designs and they look marvelous! Who know something like refinishing would make the cabinet look brand new. The change gave my kitchen a needed updated look. I get so many compliments, everyone things I had new cabinets installed. And the cost was just right. John built new boxes for the drawers so everthing looks new. I love being in the kitchen even more!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thank you to Linda and John at JZL Designs.

I recently finished my second project with John and JZL. The first was a custom entertainment center and this recent one was a custom full wall unit with murphy bed in a spare bedroom. In both cases, John and JZL exceeded our expectations. His knowledge and passion for woodworking is impressive and his ability to take your vision and turn it into reality is unparalleled. All work was done in a timely manner, his employees were professional and courteous, and the job site was always cleaned up every day. He also redid the cabinetry in my mom's kitchen and she loves it! I would have no problem recommending John and JZL to anyone who wants quality woodworking services. Now we are trying to figure out where we can use him again in our house!

JZL Designs refaced our three bathrooms, put in granite countertops and cabinet pulls. They were professional and very accomodating. The cabinets look elegant and beautiful. I thought I liked my home before but now I love it! We would recommend JZL Designs!

I love my kitchen cabinets. They are the cabinets I have been dreaming of for over 10 years. JZL Designs was loser cost and better cabinets than going to Lowes and Homedepot and personal one on one help. I LOVE MY CABINETS… they will be doing my bathroom soon.

The woodwork designed and built was absolutely fabulous. John and Linda were great to work with. The woodwork looked like it belonged and matched my cabinets already in the kitchen. The workers were efficient and friendly. I really appreciate how the cabinets came out and how they enhanced the house immensely.
