Kansas City BBQ

Small restaurant/bar with tasty BBQ plates and a full bar. Friendly staff.

Parking lot is tight, but there is also street parking (metered).

Today my husband and I visited the KC BBQ restaurant, a small restaurant with all the amenities of a Big restaurant. The staff was excellent, great service, very polite and helpful. The service was fast. The restaurant is extremely clean and beautiful. When we park the car you can smell the BBQ was great. As soon we walked in the staff greeted us with a big smile. We order 1/2 rack of Pork Ribs and 1/2 rack of Beef Ribs with two sides, potatoe salad and french fries and an extra order of sweet potatoe fries (the best I ever taste and bellieve me I always looking for the sweet potatoe fries). I was also impressed how the have the setting of the forks, knives, wipes ( off course to clean yourself after eating ribs), sauces, etc. The service was so quick we could not believe and when the waiter served the food was great, the flavor of the beef ribs and tenderness was incredible, I can still taste them. The size of the Beef Ribs were incredible, meaty and tender. You can put extra sauce like a did (by the way I had sauce all over my cheeks that is how big the beef ribs are) but you know a nice napkin did the job. But how cares if you have sauce in your face as long the food is great. If you think the Beef Ribs were great wait that you taste the pork ribs WOW they were so tender and juicy and they have this unique mesquite flavor or so that reminded me of Texas. Also, I put nore sauce I love the BBQ sauce they have. My husband loved the potatoe salad and french fries, I did too but what hit me was the sweet potatoe fries magnificent. Also the athmosphere was great, they have a nice bar also but you can not even hear the people, I tell you the setting of this restaurant is great. People keep coming in to pick up orders and I even notice a client came and pickup a big order for a party ( I believe the do catering too) I will invite you to visit this little restaurant located withing the NOHO Artist Area. You will not regret yoru visit. And the prices WOW great.. By the way, was so much food that we took home two beef ribs and two pork ribs. French Fries and Sweet potatoe fries. Also if you want to take your love one to a nice quite restaurant, this is the best place to go. I know I will be back soon and I will bring my friend and family. I want to take this time to thanks the staff including the chef great work guys, keep the good job.
