Great School great instructors the 4 weeks is probably minimum it's more like 6 it took my 8 weeks but I passed my DMV road test with ease everyone has a different experience not everyone is going to be happy no matter what they do trucking is a hard job.your on a 14 hour clock every day but this school gets you ready for the real world as much as they can you really learn when your driving 80000 lbs down a mountain in wva at 4am my point is you don't want to rush training like this and the instructors aren't going to send you to DMV if you're not ready they don't want you to go out and kill someone

I have been attending this full time program in order to obtain my commercial drivers license (CDL). 7 weeks ago I started on September 12, 2016 and have never been absent. Their Website advertises that the full time program is 4 weeks in duration, Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 4 PM. However, each day the program has started at approximately 8:15 AM, the hour lunch break last for 90 minutes and each day we have ended around 3 PM. The training program that should be 35 hours per week has been averaging approximately 26 hours of instruction per week.

In order to obtain my CDL, I must successfully pass the test at the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) test site a three part skills test which includes a pre-trip vehicle inspection, a basic control skills test and an on the road driving exam.




I have been trained and can successfully pass the pre-trip inspection and the basic control skills test. However, after 7 weeks in a 4 week training program, I have only been provided 20 minutes of behind the wheel time on the road. I have not been properly and effectively trained in a complete and timely manner in order to successfully test at the DMV. I would not be able to pass the road test due to this lack of sufficient training, and the program will not schedule my test date and provide the test truck for the test. I paid $4,000 on September 12th . I selected this program based on verbal representations, the community college alliance, and the details on their website. I am being told by the program director that “I will go when he thinks I am ready and if I do not like it I should quit the program”.

I would advise others to avoid this school. The instructors are good overall...but you have to accept short tempers and superiority complex. The equipment is certainly not good...no AC this summer. But the biggest problem is the oversized classes which equates to little driving and grossly extended graduation dates. NO ONE GRADUATES IN 4 WEEKS...NO ONE! Many have been stuck there several months...READ THE CONTRACT!

This place is a joke! Most employees hate it there. Eliminates positions 6 weeks after hiring for that position. Debits money out of people's bank account WITHOUT the person's knowledge or authorization. Lies to students. Can't get a call back when you email or leave message for the higher ups. And can't even file a complaint about them....they go by a couple different names and none come up under BBB. BUYER BEWARE!!!
