Purchased a Rear Drive Shaft for a Tacoma recently and was sold a half useable part (a spider bearing damaged on one side) for $350. I attempted to negotiate an reasonable refund (half the price) in writing via email as per the companies warranty instruction only after 2 days of purchase. The customer service rep, Eddie, acknowledged the part was defective but refused to refund half the money spent on the part and said they could do $20.



My family and I have used Livingstons many times in the past but I will not use them in the future and suggest you be careful dealing with this salvage yard for your needs. Don't leave until you throughly inspect anything from this shady business.



Just to add, another customer service rep was bragging openly to me about how much more profit they could make by cleaning up a part or wishing they had more drive shafts to sell based on the price they sold it to me.
