        huge disappointment

        The place is never open on time. they shut down randomly during the week and you cannot get a polite answer from the staff. tan elsewhere

        This is the WORST place ever to tan. Not only does their equipment suck~so dont the employees. T cancelled my membership in June 09 & all of a sudden its October & they have charged my debit card twice. I went in & spoke to someone who claimed to be the general manger & then all of a sudden she was the part owner, who informed me that I didnt cancell & its too bad cuz I owe the money. I told her to delete my credit card info & she refused telling me its impossible to delete it. APPARENTLY I MUST LOOK LIKE AN IDIOT. So I said fine I am going to report it to the bank so you cant keep charging me & I was told that she would keep a record on her end cuz its gonna keep building up. She is refusing to cancel my membership (didnt know i had to do it twice) until I pay her $120. This place is scamming people. She also refused to give me a umber to reach a corp office, telling me there isnt one. I went online to search & there are a ton of emails about Hollywood Tans being a scam company.

        There is not a female manager or part owner of this salon. I am concerned that you put such a negative, poorly written comment on this salon when it sounds like it is another Hollywood Tans that you might be talking about. The equipment at this salon is practically brand new and is maintained amazingly well. The town of Burlington inspects this location and it passes all requirements and goes above and beyond to present and operate well. Your contract explains how to cancel your membership. You have to sign this to become a member. You are responsible for knowing the procedure. The computer system does not allow a cc to be deleted. You were told the truth about that. I am fairly confident that this is not the Hollywood Tans location that you had all these difficulties with - becuase they have not received a notice from your credit card company that you were being charged frauduently. Please be more careful and thoughtful when you sign a contract and when you decide to leave negative comments on a website. Thank you.
