The Boys & Girls Clubs of America is a network of more than 4,000 neighborhood-based facilities throughout the United States. The organization services more than with 4.5 million youths through various clubs and community outreach programs. The Boys & Girls Clubs of America supports a Positive Place for Kids club that provides various guidance-oriented, character-development programs to children between ages of 6 and 18. The organization offers various programs that emphasize on leadership development, education and career exploration, financial literacy, health and life skills, sports, fitness and recreation. With headquarters located in Atlanta, the Boys & Girls Clubs of America maintains a location in Lusby, Md.
