Oral Cancer Screening
One of our most important jobs as your oral health provider is to perform regular oral cancer screenings to ensure early detection and the best chance for survival and recovery. Because you generally only see your regular doctor when a problem comes up, your dentist is in a unique position – inside your mouth – to screen you for oral cancer on a regular, twice-yearly basis. Teeth Cleaning
The progression of periodontal disease is often painless. As a result, the affected individual may not be aware of an ongoing disease process. This is why it is so important to recognize the signs of the earliest stage of periodontal disease, which is gingivitis. The symptoms of gingivitis typically include red, swollen and bleeding gums. Treatment instituted at this point is often sufficient to reverse the course of the disease and to avoid any permanent damage to the periodontal tissues. A series of deep dental cleanings, an improved home care regimen and a commitment to regular maintenance may be all that is required to prevent this stage of periodontal disease from progressing.

Resin Composite
Fillings are most commonly used to treat cavities. We will remove the decayed portion of the tooth and then "fill" the area on the tooth where the decayed material was removed with a substance such as gold, porcelain, silver amalgam or a tooth-colored plastic known as composite resin. Fillings may also be used to repair cracked or broken teeth and teeth that have been worn down from misuse such as from nail-biting or teeth grinding.
Veneers
Dental veneers are a highly effective and minimally invasive solution for people with tooth gaps, chips, stains or discoloration. Sometimes called ‘porcelain veneers’, they are very thin, custom made shells of tooth-colored material that are designed to fit perfectly over the front of your tooth or teeth. These shells are permanently bonded to the front of the teeth changing the tooth’s color, shape, size, or length. One of the most conservative cosmetic treatments available, veneers enhance and improve the shape of your teeth, create an overall whiter and brighter smile, and can mask a host of dental imperfections to give you the smile you’ve always wanted.
Crowns
A dental crown, sometimes called a cap, is a type of dental prosthetic that completely encircles a tooth that is badly damaged or decayed in order to protect the tooth and restore the natural look of the tooth. This common procedure uses dental cement to secure the crown to the tooth, making the original tooth and the crown one.
Bridges
There are several types of fixed (cannot be removed) dental bridges including conventional fixed bridges, cantilever bridges and resin-bonded bridges. Some bridges are removable and can be cleaned by the wearer; others need to be removed by a dentist. Porcelain, gold alloys or combinations of materials are usually used to make bridge appliances.

Root Canal Treatment
Root canals are tiny passageways that branch off from beneath the top of the tooth, coursing their way vertically downward, until they reach the tip of the root. All teeth have between one and four root canals. Many tooth problems involve infections that spread to the pulp, which is the inner chamber of the tooth containing blood vessels, nerves, and other tissues. When the infection becomes worse, it can begin affecting the roots. A traumatic injury to a tooth can also compromise the pulp, leading to similar problems. A diseased inner tooth brings a host of problems including pain and sensitivity as the first indications of a problem. However, a spreading infection inside the tooth can cause small pockets of pus to develop, which can lead to an abscess. Root canal therapy is a remarkable treatment with a very high rate of success and involves removing the diseased tissue, halting the spread of infection and restoring the healthy portion of the tooth. In fact, root canal therapy is designed to save a problem tooth; before the procedure was developed and gained acceptance, the only alternative for treating a diseased tooth was extraction.

Periodontal Surgery
Periodontal Disease is a chronic condition that requires immediate attention. Through a series of Periodontal Cleanings, Root Planing & Scaling, Laser Therapy, and Local Antibiotics, this condition can be controlled. Periodontal Surgery is only necessary for severe cases.

A denture is a removable replacement for missing teeth and adjacent tissues for individuals that have lost most or all of their teeth. Dentures improve chewing ability and speech and provide support for facial muscles as well as greatly enhancing the facial appearance and smile.
Overdentures
An overdenture is a removable denture that fits over a small number of remaining natural teeth or implants. The natural teeth must be prepared to provide stability and support for the denture.

Bone Grafting
Additional treatment if SRP is not effective may involve medications to control the bacteria, surgery to reduce the size of the pockets between the teeth and gums, gum grafting surgery and bone grafting surgery.

Invisalign Orthodontics
Invisalign uses a series of clear removable aligners to straighten your teeth without metal wires or brackets. The aligners are developed through a combination of your dentist’s expertise and 3-D computer imaging technology. You’ll wear each set of aligners for 1-2 weeks, removing them only to eat, drink, brush, and floss. As you replace each aligner with the next in the series, your teeth will move – little by little, week by week – until they have straightened to the final position your dentist has prescribed. You will visit with us every 4-6 weeks during this process to ensure that your treatment is progressing as planned. Total treatment time will vary depending on your particular needs but averages between 9 – 18 months. The average number of aligners worn during treatment is between 18 and 30 but will vary from case to case.
