        Flint Hill is a special events venue owned by Magic Moments. It is a 170-year old mansion surrounded by oak trees in historic Norcross. The home was built in 1835 but started functioning as a special event facility in 1987. The mansion is ideal for weddings, meetings, and corporate events. It also offers outdoor and indoor locations for ceremonies and receptions, with beautiful photo opportunities. The mansion has a groom's room, gift room, bridal suite, and a bar. It also features a large ballroom, which has dance floor and buffet area. A unit of Magic Moments, A Divine Event, handles floral design, decor, catering, and event planning at the Flint Hill.

        I recently went to a wedding here. It seemed very Pre-Civil War (i.e. plantation style venue with African American only wait-staff). I found it a bit offensive even though Pre-Civil War US was not part of my cultural history. The one star is for the food which was really good.

        Holiday Corporate Event Nickel & Dimers

        I have had the misfortune of using Magic Moments, Inc., owners of Flint Hill Mansion in Historic Norcross, GA. First, you are told that they cater mostly to weddings if you are having a corporate event (so already you begin to feel second rate), then the nickel and diming begins. This is the only place I have done business with that charges you for a table cloth of a different color that they already have. You are not allowed to bring any small item of your own to jazz up their own decorations which are lacking to say the least. You are literally charged for everything-- things that are included in the facility rental at other historic and non-historic places. If you ask to speak to the owner, you get the sales rep. and, Oh, by the way, if you take too much time on the phone with them they let you know your time is up as they have a bride coming shortly that they need to meet with.
