They are always so helpful and knowledgeable when I shop for plants for my yard.

This business does not stand by warranties. After spending over two thousand dollars on landscaping we have two dead trees and one that doesn't look like it is going to make it. A random plant that doesn't match the two that it was supposed to match. Installers that tore up our sprinkler system in two places. I could go on and on. They have poor business practices and I would definitely look elsewhere or at the very least ask a lot of questions. They are not interested in the customers happiness with their products.

This nursery is more than plants and trees. The owners, Dow and Linda Whiting, are the most helpful and accomodating people I have ever worked with in the gardening business. They just helped us design a "deer-proof" garden because of our proximite to the nature center in Springfield, MO.

Linda is creative--you can tell that by the way the gardens are arranged. On top of their product to sell, They feature local artists--Missouri Best of Our Hands potter, Bari Precious and several others. Dow has created a special variety of cypress tree that has been mentioned in journals nationally. We now own one and the deer are not eating it.

Another feature is the frequent seminars to help with gardening and different varieties of plants/trees you might want to use in your landscape. I have so far attended two: At Christmas time a seminar was offered on how to decorate your home with what you find in your yard. Very interesting, fun and enlightening. A seminar on non-invasive new types of bamboo that can develop quickly. I missed the session on Camelia's.

One weekend day and evening they had chairs arranged in one of the side yards with a local guitarist (Emily Higgins) playing simple, acoustic guitar with tunes she had written. That was a great pleasure especially when the garden was in full bloom.

I could say even more, but the experience is special. I encourage your visit to Garden Adventures.
