DO NOT USE IRENE'S!!! Irene's agency and the caregivers they sent were awful. Krystyna, the caregiver, left my aunt alone without notifying anyone! She was left half-naked in her wheelchair (she's unable to move her wheelchair without assistance) no food, water or meds in reach, all the doors wide-open and unlocked, the caregiver even took off her life-alert and put it out of reach, she was left like this for over 24 hours, until a family member was reached by my aunt. Irene gave us 2 conflicting stories of what happened, never took responsibility. Then told us she couldn't find another caregiver to replace Krystyna. And that Krystyna left because she wanted more money and that she'd come back if we paid her more! We took my aunt to the ER within an hour of getting to her (after being left alone) and she was severely dehydrated, anemic, had a UTI and several bed sores. A police report was filed and the appropriate action was taken. Irene's agency and her caregivers should never have another opportunity to do this to another person's loved one.
