Located in Newton, Miss., Newton High School serves students in grades 9 through 12. It offers a range of special programs, including student laptop, advisory groups, leadership development seminars and handbell choir. The school s academic curriculum includes social studies, language arts, math and science. Newton High School provides a range of arts and crafts, drama and computer applications, sports and a variety of adventurous summer camp activities. The school offers several sports activities, including soccer, volleyball, golf, cross country, basketball, cheerleading, softball, baseball, and track and field. Newton High School also has a library and media center that provides a variety of resources, such as books, journals, magazines and Internet access. The school is a part of the Newton Municipal School District.
