Blue Skies Pet Care

Blue Skies Pet Care was what exactly what we needed when we left for vacation. Two pets, newly planted gardens and mail/newpapers needed daily attention. Ashley immediately put us at ease by coming to meet the dogs and get accustomed to what we expected. It was wonderful to know she picked up where we left off. When our air conditioner stopped running she called us, then notified our emergency contact, and even kept our inside dog with her, with our permission, when it got hotter inside the house then it was outside. The prices were very reasonable. We highly recommend this service and will not hesitate to use it again.

Have you ever tried to leave town with five dogs and two cats to leave behind? Have or haven't, know it's frustrating. I called a local place to board / kennel them and was looking at $100+/day!!!! Not only that but they would just be in small cages all day. As pets used to TONS of space I didn't think they would appreciate that much. It wasn't luck my veterinarian referred me to Blue Skies Pet Care. I was glad to hear that not only would my pets stay happy at home but Ashley offered me $27 for two visits a day and $38 for three visits per day. Said it was cheaper per pet the more pets I had. How great is that? My pets stay at home and are happier and I get the price break of the century!!!! I ended up going for two visits per day because it was okay out and the dogs were out during the day. Told her if it got cold to come three times and leave em in. She came and met us to learn our routine before we left. I liked that. It was almost weird that all of my dogs liked her from the start from my shy shelter girl Lucy to pushy Cody. Anyway when I got back all of them were almost like I'd never left. I could tell the sitter didn't just come in and out. Another bonus was that she flipped our blinds and switch between TV and radio to make the house seem lived in because our house is kind of on its own. Everything was great at home while I was on vacation. I would definitely recommend Ashley and will call on her again.

We are very happy with Blue Skies. Ashley came and took care of our three cats and two collies while we were gone over Christmas. Her prices were AMAZINGLY good for that many pets ($22/day for five pets getting three visits each day- I had never heard of such a thing!) and this was my first actual pet sitter, so I was a little unsure of how this would go over. Our sitter came to our house once before we left and we went over details and introduced the pets, then we were off.



We thought it was fun when my husband received a picture text message "from the dogs" and couldn't wait to see the pets when we got home.

When we came back from our trip, though, I was pleasantly surprised. First, I received a text at about 10pm, a couple hours before we got home saying, "Hi! I hope your trip went well. I just wanted to make sure you arrived home safely.". I didn't reply for whatever reason, but the next morning we got a call. Ashley said she wanted to make sure we were home and OK so the pets didn't need a visit. It was very thoughtful!



The "kids" came and greeted us the night before, but didn't seem hyper or distressed from being alone- not even our needier dog (Kara has some separation anxiety). The house was kept clean and Ashley even did some dishes we left in the sink!!! THEN our mail and newspapers were on the front table, sorted by day and had a long note detailing the last few days and how she and the pets got on. Overall, we are extremely pleased with Ashley and look forward to using her in the future. I have no doubt we will never need to board or kennel a cat or dog again!!! :)

Ashley was wonderful. She watched our two cats and frogs in our home with less than 24 hours notice. She changed the litter boxes twice. Our kitties were happy while we were gone which is evidenced by the fact that there was nothing torn up, puked on, or peed on. Her prices are very reasonable.
