Sunwest Mazda

The pads wore prematurely, probably not his fault. But I did buy the car from his dealership. I suggested that perhaps he should contact Mazda and see if they would reimburse me for substandard OEM parts and the labor to replace them. He said he would look into it.

Got a call from the Mazda corporate office today. According to the conversation with the service manager, the brake wear was due to the driving habits of my wife and that the dealership had already given me a discount from their normal cost of $360.00 per axle. I was stunned as she asked me if I had any other questions.

I just wanted to pass on to any of my Lincoln County, Oregon, Newport, Depoe Bay, Lincoln City, SPCH friends… If you plan to take your car to Sunwest Honda for service, you better bring your own lube because chances are they will charge you for it while bending you over.
