The company recently merged with Samband of the Icelandic Corporation. With processing plants in Cambridge, Md., and Newport News, Va., Icelandic USA provides state-of-the-art secondary processing for mainly breaded, battered and grill-marked portions cut from filets and blocks. Icelandic USA also maintains harbor and cold storage facilities in Everett, Mass., and Newport New, Va. Icelandic USA is headquartered in Newport News, Va., and employs more than 700 people.
