Yelp

They are such a scam! I am very disappointed in them as well. they hide all our good reviews. We just over 10 reviews that were from customers they I gave discounts to as they were regulars, and the customers went out of their way to write some good stuff about my business, and yelp hides them. Shame on this business for hurting small business owners. The courts really need to do something about this. If you dont sign up for there program they remove your reviews. This is slander!

Yelp has been very disappointing!

I thought I could trust their review web site, but in turn they have breached that.



We own a very successful business in NJ. We have perfect reviews in every web site, including YP.com.



We stopped paying Yelp for advertising mid last year, having a perfect track record of 5 star review.



Soon after a bogus review appeared, and interestingly all our good 14 positive reviews were filtered out. (A process in which it's nearly impossible to see the reviews, with many loops to go trough. As well as hiding them from view completely on Google and other search engines.)



We contacted tried to contact whoever left the bogus review with no reply, we also contacted Yelp with proof that this person could never have been our client but they said nothing could be done, it was all automated.



They went on to say that if "advertised" with them again, $300 a month, we could choose the reviews that we're to be shown first on their site. Of course we declined.



A few months later a second bogus one appeared. Again we contacted the client, with no luck, and reached out to Yelp with no response.



We strive to please all our customers, resolve issues and have 100% satisfaction. Our name, reputation and honor are sacred to us.



All our, actual customer, reviews ever since then have been filtered, 20 as of now, and we have been solicited fro Yelp to "advertise" with them.



All I ask is that you as consumer do your homework, don't just take the word of a single place. And whatever you do, don't trust Yelp.com!
