They specialize in makeup, blowouts and updo's and from the clients I saw coming and going are really skilled at it. ABSOLUTELY AMAZING...
I was in NYC for my friend’s wedding and had hair and make-up done. Dana was just wonderful, friendly and caring, made me feel and look so beautiful !! She recommended just the right amount of make up and eyelashes for the professional photos I were going to have taken for the wedding and the pictures came out just beautiful!
I highly recommend this company ! I'm totally blown away. They also did an amazing updo on me. My hair and makeup held beautifully throughout the evening (tears of joy and all)! Thank you for making me feel and look beautiful. Will definitely use their services again in the future if I'm partying in Manhattan, NYC!!!!!!

Very professional, This was my second time seeing Natalia, the first time for a blowout and today for a UpDo. She took every precaution with my fine hair, and she's so sweet! I booked them two days in a row, I had Joanalice the first day and Sahi the second day. Both ladies did such a great job of doing my hair and makeup. I cannot recommend them enough. GS crew are awesome! I highly recommend them! I had a destination wedding in Manhattan, NY this past June with 4 bridesmaids, my 16 year old daughter, and 2 mother's, and they got us all done in a few hours! We all looked fabulous! My expectations were more than exceeded! I can't say enough good things about GS blowout bar ! Prices are very reasonable. Clean and nice salon.

They are perfectionist and are VERY prompt on time, Stepdaughter who is 4 - Kate, we both had a blow dry done for a wedding we were attending that afternoon. A wedding at which my other half was a Groomsman and my stepdaughter was a flower girl so we wanted to make sure our hair was "on point" for the photos.

Before booking, I had lots of questions as I'm not from NYC (I'm more of a country women) as I was concerned about dragging Kate around busy Manhattan. Every email had a quick response and advice which eased my booking and since then everything run smoothly.

On the Friday I received a reminder about our bookings.

We arrived half hour early on the day of the wedding and were seen straight away. Kate had a blast and felt like quite the little lady of luxury. Sharon and the pink haired lady working with her (sorry didn't get your name :(), were very attentive of Kate, and myself, and she loved feeling like part of the girls while being pampered.

When it come to my hair being done and Kate’s had been finished they kept her entertained by talking to her and at the end she gave Sharon a big cuddle for making her hair look perfect. I'll be sending the salon a picture of Kate fully dressed for the wedding and

My blow dry was completed by 12.30pm, no need for hairspray so that it fell slightly before the wedding, and it was still in perfectly on the Sunday morning after a night of dancing - and a slightly sore head the next day.

If I worked in Midtown Manhattan, NYC I would be going to GS Blowdry bar every
Friday, and I'll definitely be recommending to many of my friends who are in the area.

Totally worth it! From the time of my initial email with the salon, I was met with warmth and welcoming nature of the owner. I had my hair done by Brittney. She was very welcoming, she did an amazing job on my hair. She understood my situation and my need to have the hairdo last whole 3 days. I was very happy with outcome and would recommend this place in a heartbeat! It's a delight to come in here and by far the best blowout I've ever got!

This review is a bit late; we had a lovely experience at GS salon. My brother and now sister-in-law got married last week in Las Vegas. I wanted to get the bride something special for her wedding day. I'm so glad I found GS Blowout online. She was so happy with her hair and makeup. The big day was a big success! Go here, go here, go here! This is always one of my must-do stops on any travel itinerary with a GS blowout bar location. We ladies all experience the all too common "travel hair." You know, when our hair gets all sorts of gross from change in climate, change in humidity, change in hair routine. After a lot of searching for a best blow-dry bar in Midtown, NYC who can do blowouts!! I have very fine dry hair that is shoulder length. Without teasing, tons of hair products, Yester blowout gave me body and curl (yes, curl) and it lasted 3 days! The salon is elegant, the staff is wonderful and it is open late. All types of hair can be handled. I can't wait to see Yester again

My first experience at a GS and it was great. The salon is beautiful, clean and the best most comfy hair washing basins I have experienced. I have very long, very thick, polynesian hair that usually takes stylists a good 2 hours to wash, blow dry and straighten. I also had an hour before I had to check out of my hotel room so was obviously feeling pretty confident that morning. Stephanie was my stylist. She was so friendly, bubbly, professional and very attentive. I was nervous reading a few of the other negative reviews but my experience was totally opposite. I have been wanting to go to the GS Blow Dry Bar for months and my first experience has me hooked! Stephanie did an amazing job in limited time. Thank you so much!! Definitely recommend.

I have really long, extremely THICK hair that most salons CANNOT do anything with, I can only go to people that know my hair and have been doing it for years, until I found GS Blow Dry Bar NYC and I look like a star every single time. As a mom of a one year old boy, I have a very busy day and I don't have time to do my hair so it usually ends up in a bun. Every once in a while, when I need a break I go to get a "great blow-out" for some alone time. The moment I enter the salon I feel relaxed because of the general ambience and also because everyone is so nice and welcoming. I also get to watch a Runway Fashion Show AND end up with beautiful hair!

That is exactly what i need to keep my sanity!
