worst receptionist ever. I am not very sure how this level of service could be tolerated by all the other patients. the receptionist was simply rude, unprofessional, and work with the lowest efficiency you will ever envision.

Overall

Absolute waste of your time. When I made my first appointment with them, I EXPLICITLY asked if they take my insurance. They said yes. When I got there, after filling out 15 minutes worth of forms, they told me they don't take my insurance. When I told them I asked when I made the appointment, the receptionist said very nonchalantly "It wasn't me you spoke to." So not only did I waste an afternoon, I also actually wasted a week and a half waiting, because then I had to find another dentist for a a pressing issue.

On top of that, I told them to shred the forms I filled out. They said they would. Then I get an auto email from them after my appointment. The only way they had my email address was on the forms I filled out. If they shredded them, how did they know my email address?

When a staff crews up each time you deal with them, it's not a one off thing. They are awful.

Bad experience: at the start-out the receptionists had an obnoxious indifferent "screw you" attitude that persisted through the 3 hour wait in the awful waiting room. Every dealing with the snooty receptionists was an experience in humiliation.

Then I had to wait 3 hours in the waiting room before taken to a room with a destist chair. The waiting room was crowded, had a blaring TV on, and enough of the other patients were acting like obnoxious aggressive animals to make it scary at times ... ("... do I tell that loud aggressive ---hole to sit down an shut up?...")

I sat for an hour in the dentist chair, probably while the staff had lunch. The tooth extraction went fast and ok (TG), but the support assistant was slap-dash and seemed to resent telling me what I was supposed to do after leaving the office with a gaping, bleeding hole in my mouth.

Avoid this office if you can.

Rosa

After reading a previous review about Metropolitan Dental I was skeptical about visiting the place. However, due to a dental emergency in which I was in need to see a dentist right away I decided to go anyway. I am so glad I did because my experience was pretty positive. The office is clean, modern and spacious. I was treated by respectful, educated and professional staff. The waiting period was no issue. Everyone seemed very friendly, helpful and willing to answer any questions.

Medicaid office

Hello people! This is a medicaid office. If any of you continue to go here and have decent insurance, well, you're just dumb. I realized what was going on after one visit and took my insurance elsewhere. The long waits are because medicaid pays less, so they try to maximize their time as much as possible. Seeing more patients in less time is key to pay employees and make profit. Same thing goes for union insurances. So they overbook for this reason. Yeah, the place sucks, but so does any service for a person with medicaid. Medical professionals do the least they can to get you in and out, even in hospitals. Your insurances is poop so you will get poop service. Quit complaining and get a real job so you can have Metlife, Aetna, Humana, Cigna, or some other lucrative real insurance!!!
