Ages: 6yrs, 7yrs, 8yrs, 9 yrs, 10yrs, 11yrs; Dates: Jan 1st - Jan 1st;Location: At CMA. Explore the fantastical world of Egyptian art! In this class, young artists will examine how this ancient society used their art to depict the human form, create symbolic language, and interpret the afterlife. Using a variety of mixed media materials, students will work in both 2D and 3D, creating replica artifacts like mummy cases, hieroglyphic messages, and small scale sculptures.
