They took $1000 (yes 1 thousand) out of my checking account on a $116 order. The $1000 came out as two $500 charges. One was charged when we placed the order, and one was charged when we canceled two days later (well before the date we needed the order) after we were suspicious as to why $500 was taken out of the account.



The company assured us that the $500 charges would not go through, but they did.



This company needs to be investigated, this makes no sense.

Interesting that all of their 5 star reviews are on the same day. Don't fall for it. This company is a scam. I am now fighting to get my money back as the "refund" check they sent to my Paypal account bounced. This is after they "mistakenly" failed to ship the stroller we rented for our DC trip. Save your money and go with someone else.

Horrible horrible company. Cannot even express how much stress the customer service employees gave to me during my 2nd experience with them. I rather pay more for a company that actually cares for their customers. The only number they give doesn't even have employees answer during working hours. When it's an emergency and no one is available you just get voicemail no matter what extension you push. Delivery was supposed to be 7-11 am. We called at 10:50 to get an update just to wait an hour and never hear back from customer service. Call again and told 2pm because truck broke down. Received after 4pm by a frustrated worker. All very professional. (Not!) And don't expect a refund without calling multiple times to remind them to send confirmation of it. And crib was broken when finally delivered late and no sheets to use on mattress. NEVER AGAIN WILL I USE THIS COMPANY and I'm telling everyone to do the same!

Came across Bebe Gear through an online search. The crib I rented for my son looked like it had never been used, prices were affordable and everyone was really nice. Thanks Bebe Gear!

I booked and paid for a rental through this company. The day I flew down, they called and let me know that a driver sprained her ankle and they would be canceling my order. I asked if they could do it one day later, and they said no, it was in the other direction from their other orders. Then she asked if I might want to add more items on to my order, like a stroller, which pretty much implied that my order total was just too low to be worth it, and sort of cast doubt on the original ankle sprain story. We were already out the door and it was too late to pack any of the things we needed. SO unprofessional and I would stay away from this company.

Visited Bebe Gear Today in their Long Island office to pickup a stroller and crib. The associates were very helpful. They even provided sheets with the order. I would like to add that I am using their workstation to leave a review while we wait! I think that is the misconception customers are having. They aren't leaving reviews themselves but instead asking customers to review their services when they come to pickup items. That is brilliant. Wonderful! As a dad, I always want the best for my kids! So I came across this company when I needed to rent some strollers while on vacation and they had some nice Britax City Minis so I got two of those for my twins. They absolutely loved it as did I! Very happy with their service!

Came across Bebe Gear searching for rental companies and saw that they service California. I needed 2 cribs for my daughter and son while my family and I were away on vacation, and so I called this company up, placed my order, and everything went smoothly. Cribs were dropped off at the hotel and it was all nice and clean.
