        My free diagnostics cost me $1...

        My free diagnostics cost me $107. After receiving three free diagnostics checks and repair estimates from other service centers in the area, I brought my vehicle into Ferman Chrysler Jeep Dodge of New Port Richey for an estimate. At the end of the day, the price for repair was more then twice that of the other service centers in the area and it cost me $107 for information that I already had. After handing over my vehicle to the service desk, no mention of the cost of the diagnostics was discussed. Other mechanic shops in the area provide free estimates but not this dealership. Furthermore, I dropped my vehicle off at 8:45 for a 9 am appointment and they never got back to me to let me know the status of my vehicle and what my options were. After calling them, I told them that I was on my way to pick up my vehicle, 45 minutes later it was still on the lift in the shop and wasn't ready. Poor customer service and shady business practices. Drive right on by this location.
