bad customer service

I called this place one day to make sure I could get "In and out" without an appointment, I wanted to make sure they had plenty of help, because with a 3 month old baby I did not want to wait long out in public and wanted to get home as quick as possible. He said no problem, So I literally got the baby in the car seat and left. I arrived 10 minutes later and he told me he was out of my oil filters (I have a pretty common vehicle) so I went back home, wondering why he didn't tell me that on the phone when I called.
So 5 days later I went back. I sat in line in my car waiting for 20 minutes. The workers kept looking at me, making eye contact, but did not say anything to me about my wait or how much longer it would take. I could not wait any more so I left. This place claims that they give 10 minute oil changes or your next oil change is free. I did not want a free oil change, I just wanted to get my oil changed period! This place makes an oil change HARD TO GET DONE. So I called them after I left to talk to the manager to see what the problem was. It was him, who kept looking at me, but didn't say anything. He told me that he "can;t talk to someone who has their windows rolled up" and said he "can't change the oil on 2 cars at the same time". well duh, i KNOW that. then he said ":have a good day" and hung up the phone. HOW RUDE!!! I called another "In and out" location to see if I could get in contact with the owner. I left my info and the owner NEVER called me back, which is why I am leaving this review. You would think with the economy the way it is, that people would take an exra 20 seconds to say "hey i'll be with you in a few minutes, sorry about the wait" so that they don't lose any business.

12/4 Ran in for quick oil change. wasn't the 10 min, but tolerable
My check engine was on at the time. Tech informed me he could do a diagnostic.
I agreed. Said it was the fuel injector. Not it may be, could be, try this.
I agreed to have the sevice done for $60.00.
By the 15th my check engine light was back on. Stopped by the shop the 17th.
Can't refund. Did I tell you it was fuel injector? Yes you did. I can't refund. Do you want a new diagnostic? No I trusted you the first time. i want a refund. Can't do that.
Asked how to contact supervisor. he doesn't have an office. try the NPR shop.
Called....left messages. No return calls. Finally I got his cell #. Left messages. Finally called back the 27th. Rude, unprofessional. Hung up on me.
They don't honor the 90 day warranty for service listed at bottom of service tag.
GO TO YOUR MECHANIC!!!!!!!!!! For everything!!!!!! Should be a 0 star rating on these review sites

I was a handicapped (wheelchair) customer here for a few years, ownership changed... I took my car in to get air in the tires, they take 32lbs, the idiot put 60lbs in them, stole the metal valve stem caps, put cheap plastic ones on (3, the other he left bare). My car is a sports car, it now slid all over, then the tire sensor gauge starting beeping and the light lit up, I'd have never known my car was dangerous had that light not lit... my friend discovered the air pressure problem and fixed it.
This is a criminal act in my opinion, my life was endangered and they stole from me... those valve stem caps cost close to 10 bucks each!

Stay away from this crook.

Toothless Chris and lazy fat Jason are thieves they tell customers the credit card machine is broken and it's cash only so they can steal the cash from their boss neither one of them are qualified for this job they turn away customers for transmission flushes etc because like i said they aren't qualified the fat one sleeps in the office all day the toothless one sells drugs and brings a gun to the shop real snakes in the grass these two are i would take my business anywhere but here.....

Love this place all the other comments are about the old workers I've been going there for a few years now and I love the service and speed. They went over everthing that they did and showed me what would need to be change soon with out being pushy. Some times u can't use your credit card but that's fine

Let me 1st say that I am in customer service and have been for way too long. The only time you usually hear something is when it's bad and I don't want to be "that guy" who writes a bad review about someplace but I feel I must share about these idiot's. I have lived in the area for over 10 years and do not usually use this place and I'll say why. I used to have an employer close to this operation who had me service our shop truck there. Being from a mechanical background I always keep an eye on things maintenance wise. Almost ALL the time after the truck was serviced I would have to top off fluids or tires not checked by these people but again, not my decision to have the vehicle serviced there. For some reason they also thought they could sell me a $30 air filter every time but whatever. Recently, we had some very bad weather move through on a Saturday ruining my plans for a home oil change on my vehicle. It had been a few years since my last visit at Pennzoil so I thought maybe things had changed, NOT...I had my daughter with me and decided, due to the weather and my route home, to try and get just my oil changed there. I arrived and pulled into the lane and was immediately told "can you move that car, it's in my way" by one of the monkey's working there. I agreed and moved my vehicle out of the lane where it clearly states, PULL UP HERE. When I walked back up to inquire about servicing my vehicle I was immediately treated rudely and told they were busy. There were no other vehicles there at the time besides mine and one of the employee's jacked up silver or tan Chevy truck. I said ok, I can wait for a bit, I just need a quick oil change only. I was told that they could not do it for less than $36.95 + taxes and fees as I watched the other guy's go to work on there co-workers vehicle. I know it belongs to an employee because the guy parks it out in front of the place everyday as if it's on display. I would not let these guy's cross thread a spark plug into my lawn mower and I don't know why I stopped there. How does this place stay open ??? I see nothing but bad reviews about them. Pennzoil needs to come in and CLEAN HOUSE here.... STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE... Wish I could give negative stars.....

The day after I went to In and out express lube on 54 in New Port Richey I checked my dip stick and it showed there was almost a quart of oil TO MUCH !!!!! .. So now I crawled under to look at grease fittings .. You guest it HAD NOT BEEN GREASED!!! So I had to go back and show the manager .. He had to drain some oil .. And grease the front-end .. They figure how many people check their grease fitting .. They charge for oil and grease .. And only change your oil .. And cant even do that right .. PLEASE DONT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF !!! When I told this story to some of my friends they said they heard the same thing from people they know.
