For the remainder of 2020, the Chimes is offering only self-check-in through the courtyard and breakfast is provided at your room door, if requested. All floors/pillows are steam cleaned, surfaces disinfected between guests and no daily housekeeping is offered. The Chimes has just five private and unique guest rooms, some with kitchenettes, some without stairs and all have self-controlled separate A/C-Heater systems (no shared air inside). The Chimes is still, however, a hidden gem just off St. Charles Avenue in the residential Garden District/Uptown neighborhood. Restaurants, coffee houses and shops are within walking distance of this unique, charming spot. The owners are on site with a singular goal: to make you feel comfortable and at home in their city. Queen size beds, shiny hard wood floors, bathrooms with walk-in showers (grab bars, too), French doors, stocked refrigerator and oh, so much more. New Orleans has cachet and when you stay at the Chimes Bed and Breakfast, you will feel it. Physical distancing is currently being requested in the courtyards (there is loads of space).
