I drove my vehicle there on the evening of the 14th. I left it there with the understanding that I would receive an estimate for the work the following morning when they had time to look at it.
I spoke to a representative over the phone on the morning of the 15th about my vehicle where they told me that they were guessing it would be close to a thousand dollars to fix the vehicle but that they would need to check the cost of some parts and would not be able to start the work for several days and the work would not be done until after Thanksgiving. I was never given ANY kind of legal estimate nor did I approve of any work.
I discussed the ballpark estimate with my partner and we decided that we needed to get the vehicle faster because we needed it for visiting family over the holiday.
24 minutes later I called back to tell them I was going to have AAA tow my vehicle to another shop that could get the work done faster. They tell me that they are "about $80 in" on a vehicle that they told me they didn't have time to start on yet. I asked them how they could have done that much work in 24 minutes and all I got was "uhh.."
Then I am told that they are going to illegally hold my vehicle until I pay them the money they want. I already had AAA on the way and had used my last tow with them so I had no choice but to call them back with a credit card to pay them off then the price jumped to $100. When asked why the cost was so high in such a short amount of time, they said because he had to use a whole case of brake cleaner to clean my engine block to find my leak. My invoice from them says 1.43 hours worth of work in the 24 minutes (which conveniently comes out to $100 even).
I got my vehicle fixed within one day at a different shop and was charged less than $500.
Crickets practices in malicious deceptive acts and does not hesitate to take advantage of people in a difficult situation. Don't risk your wallet or vehicle with this thief and liar!

If I could give them negative 5 stars I would.I bought a van off the owner in December and he said it was in great shape except for a very small oil leak.I said fine and bought it because my truck engine blew up and needed a vehicle to work out of.After 1 day the break peddle went to the floor so I checked the fluid it was empty so I filled it up and the next day it was empty again.I call he said it ain't a new vehicle and I said it didn't start leaking in one day and I also told him the heater didn't work the temperature gauge didn't work and it wouldn't go into park it would keep rolling.I called them 5 times over the next two months trying to get my van back. When I finally got it back his head mechanic said the owner didn't want to call me.Today is the first day since I got it back I started it.The brakes still fall to the floor and the oil leak is anything but little.I looked under the van and it leaks oil a drop every second.I had them fix the power steering and brakes in a different truck about 8 months ago ,when I got it home I noticed the air filter and breather were missing so I called and they said they were in the back of the truck. I asked why they didn't replace the filter and put the breather back on and they said they couldn't find a filter.I asked why they didn't at least tell me and got no answer. I figured it's just a filter so a few months later I took a different truck and asked them to install a radio they busted out the column were the radio goes and just sat the radio in on the floor. What a joke. I went to school with this clown and figured it was his employes (NOT) it is the owner.Take it from me if I can't trust him and have known him 30 years you sure the heck can't.I tell everyone I can about them. I was at the license bureau today to get tags for the van I bought from them and the teller told me she hears nothing but bad things about this mechanic.

I bought my car from them with a bill of everything they fixed when they got it. I've had it two weeks and the AC compressor(listed new) starts to burn up. when I call the owner to see if he can do anything for me. his response is" what do you want me to do about it" and "ya it was new came in the car when I bought it, sitting in the back seat" I say trust your car hear if you want something that will blow up on you because they don't care enough to even take care of what they sell
