New Braunfels Pediatrics

Absolutely HORRIBLE! I would not waste your time with this practice. My son was scheduled for his 6 month shots today and my husband arrived late due to an accident on I-35. He called prior to being late and informed them of the situation and was told by power trip Tammy that he could be up to 20 minutes late. He came in at 9:15, with 5 minutes to spare. But, because power trip Tammy is incompetent, there was a line at the front desk and he was unable to speak with her until 9:22.



Although he arrived WITH IN their 20 minute window, my son was denied his visit and left without seeing the doctor. We moved out of the area last month and kept our appointment here since we have not had the opportunity to find a new doctor for my son. My husband drove well over an hour to get there and took the morning off from work for this appointment. Now, not only does my son not have his REQUIRED immunizations but my husband lost half a day of pay. Thanks POWER TRIP TAMMY for being such a cold, heartless human being and an incompetent employee.

Friendly, good with kids, but felt he was a bit passive at times...However when a medical emergency happened he took good care of my child.

Run from this place! If you choose not to vaccinate or do alternative scheduling of vaccines they will not treat your child. The doctor was very rude to me even when I discussed my child's medical history and how vaccines can harm him. He didn't care! And waived "bye bye" to me... I was given an ultimatum that I had 30 days to have my then autistic child stuck with 6 multiple titer vaccines or go elsewhere. I went elsewhere! Poor ethics as far as I am concerned and definitely in it for the almighty dollar since multiple vaccinations during wellness visits is where these doctors make their money from higher insurance payouts. Unfortunately MANY pediatricians are practicing the same policy to pressure parents to vaccinate their children or else they are told to hit the curb. Aside from the vaccine policy and discrimination of unvaxed children the front building is creepy and cold. The exam rooms have a deep natural wood molding, and painted murals on the walls which were not that well done. The exam tables are old, and the stuffed animals they have for the kids to play around with are kind of gross. This place totally lacks the warmth and soothing environment of a pediatrician's office. I would rather drive the extra 15 miles to San Marcos to the Corridor practice. At least they treated my child even though his vax's weren't up to date...
