Dumpster Dave

I'd never used a dumpster service before, but I'd seen Dumpster Dave's dumpsters all over the place in Fairview Heights and Belleville. After the 3rd recommendation I gave him a call, left him a message and he called back. His prices were better than anyone else I'd called, especially when you add up the extra fees from the other companies. I'd been shopping for nearly a year planning a big home demo/cleanout project. He is direct and to the point, so don't expect to haggle. I happen to like that as there are fewer surprises when it comes down to getting the bill paid. His dumpsters are older but really in demand, so don't call at the last minute. I'm glad I didn't just call the trash company.

I couldn't reach the business number during normal business hours. I had to leave a voicemail and wait a few hours for a callback. He was somewhat rude on the phone as well. He quoted me prices that were well above competitor prices in the same local area. When I mentioned that another place could give me a better rate and asked if he could come down on his price at all, he replied with, "No! I don't lower my price, go with someone else. Bye." Not exactly a strong business model, sending customers to the competition and jacking your rates up way higher than everyone else for less service. Very abbrasive attitude and I don't recommend doing business with him.
