Being the only place within 51 miles I say kudos to these workers fast always over worked n with a smile still. Love it

not friendly, staff hate their jobs and show it by their attitudes and body language....... and only 4 cents per can.

27 Bags??? yea okay, the people here have always been good to talk to. I use the tall can box bags and when I get two of them full I take them in, they count them on the spot give me the money and new bags if I need them.

Last week we took 27 garbage bags of cans into the can & bottle redemtion center in Navada Iowa. When I walked in I saw home made sign on the wall listing dog groomimg fees. Since I was there to get a 5 cent refund for my cans I disregaurded the sign however the yipping puppies in the back area were harder to disreguard. The man & woman working were not friendly at all. I explained I had 27 bags of cans & asked where we should put them once we carried them in. The woman pointed to an area to the side. We carried the cans in & waited for the man to start counting them but he just stood there. I was beginning to wonder if he was deaf as he had not said one word. Then he said we could come back later for our refund money. What? How much later? Like 15-20 mins? The man said, "well I go to lunch in about 20 minutes & I take an hour so come back in about 2 hours. I said we live in Maxwell. He told us to find something to do. I said in Navada? He suggested we go to Ames. I was about to leave & offered to help count the cans. The man said well they have to be sorted. We left & returned later at which time I noticed another home made sign on the wall saying I would get only 4 cents a can & if I wanted 5 cents to ask. So I told the man I wanted 5 cents. He told me to get 5 cents we had to help sort/count the cans!
