        When You're Away, LLC celebrates seven (7) years in business in 2014! Owner, Krista S. Anderson, has met over 500 families and that equals over 1.000 animals thanks to multiple pet homes. In 2012 a staff was built to accommodate the growing business. The new goal is to give every pet the option to be cared for in their own home when their owners need to be away.

        When You're Away, LLC takes care of animals in their own home when their owners are either on vacation, a weekend get-away, or just have a long day. A schedule of visits can be customized to fit their needs. We offer a minimum 20 minute, full-service visit and a maximum 10 minute, drop-in visit (great for potty breaks or homes that only require the maintenance). You also receive light house sitting services such as bringing in the mail/newspaper, opening/closing blinds/curtains, turning lights on and off (to keep the lived-in look), taking out the garbage, watering plants and feeding birds. When You're Away, LLC is full service pet care for a flat rate. The visit includes: feeding, fresh water, walk/play, giving medication if needed (WYA is familiar with Sub-q fluids and insulin shots), scooping the litter, picking up poop, and of course pets, love, hugs and kisses. All pets and farm animals are included. When You're Away, LLC has cared for a wide range of cats, many dog breeds (including Pit Bull, Rottweiler, Rhodesian Ridgeback, Leonberger, and Doberman Pincher), horses, goats, llamas, turkeys, chickens, a corn snake, a turtle, a tortoise, rats, guinea pigs, rabbits, parrots and koi...to name a few.
