I just paid over 100 dollars to have cable turned on which is ridiculous in and of itself but every day the service gets interrupted and goes out my mother has had service with them for years and has always had the same problem you can't call after hours so you have no service until the get ready to come fix it if your lucky it just went out and I have no way of getting the issue resolved until tomorrow and customers have no other options other than TVS because they have monopolized this area I am furious right now customers are being ripped off by this company with bad service and paying outrageous prices and no customer service to address issues

Been calling them for two months about my internet cutting out sporadically. They keep saying they'll put in a report but no ones checked it out. Switching to Windstream.

The other reviewers to date are right. Here is a detailed review of the cons... Have had so many problems with their service over the years, internet and customer service. Have had internet be out for WEEKS at a time before, me constantly calling to get them to fix it. but I and my neighbors are almost always having some kind of trouble. Keep in mind everything I'm about to say about what they tell me over the phone, the workers vary in IQ, and the company changes. Their new internet plans, DSL, they call it an upgrade, which they had it years ago. yeah for the SAME SPEED (if you choose the same speed package you had with their cable internet) it is double the price of it, unless maybe you go with their idiotic get a landline through thacker and save money crap. (See quoted prices below, been a while since i asked though, they could have gotten a little bit smarter, just a little bit) IF YOU HAVE CABLE DON'T MISS A BILL, you will be FORCED to go to DSL, their new NOTUPGRADECRAP that is way too overpriced, is becoming or has already, the only option unless you stick with the cable you had with them, they claimed on the phone. Not faster internet as they claim, unless they mean they have HIGHER speed plans to choose from for DSL. which would cost even more. Overpriced at Cable as it is. 3mbps for 45 dollars, Check speedtest.net for USA internet speed average and prices. with TVS, 3mbps for the 'new DSL' is, they told me on the phone, 60-120 dollars for that same speed. INSANE. Customer service is a little bit better. But I have had rude call takers, no answer when calling for weeks, when they finally come out and fix it, usually after reporting to them 3 times, they think it is fixed but it isn't half the time, or they come out and don't see the problem at all because they don't know what they are doing. (No offense if there are any that do. and don't say it is me or my pc because I know how to do an easy google on all the poor user can try to do to fix from their end) Their website is not updated from years ago. Their provided email accounts just went dead one day and stayed dead forever. They have blocked safe perfectly fine websites before in past, a popular professional LEGIT music software website for example, they probably did that by accident somehow. I'm probably forgetting some things.. and YES it is the only choice where I live, but i hear windstream is coming, but i -heard- that they are not too much better in surrounding areas (Yerkes, Hazard). TVS needs to take some of the money they stole from us with their overpricing and internet problems for weeks, and take that and spend it on an education.

I have called (4) times that my internet is out AGAIN, and have NO REPLY YET, it's still out and still no calls. And the people that answer your calls are Rude.

The only choice and that's a shame

Lethargic service, pitiful bandwidth and almost no monitoring. I pity anyone in this area whose business or online college depends on this service. Because you're in for a real disappointment. Pathetic.

Why don't you have a way a person could go on the internet and make payments on their accounts. It would make it alot easier on your viewers.
