Top Hat and Tails Canine Training School is fun and family friendly, offering a PAWSitive approach to dog training through daytime, evening and Saturday group, semi-private and private instruction in basic manners/obedience, agility, puppy socialization, behavior problem solving and Canine Good Citizen testing. The "Little Rascals" puppy socialization program offers puppy owners and their new four-legged family members an opportunity to learn basic manners/obedience skills while providing ample socialization opportunities, in addition to building confidence and proficiency through puppy agility training. The Kidz n Dogz program enables children to learn to car for and train their four-legged canine friends. Supervised playgroups afford dogs and their owners a chance to socialize in a supervised & secure environment. A private consultation/working session is required of all new students. Locally owned and operated for over 13 years,Top Hat and Tails is veterinarian recommended, and features a state-of-the-art training surface and professional, competition-grade agility equipment. Educated and trained as a graduate level marriage and family therapist, broadcast journalist and college public relations professional, owner and professional dog trainer Antoinette Krafcheck, MA MFT, combines her vast experience and education in the fields of behavioral science, education and communication with her many years of raising, training and competing with her champion Bearded Collies in various canine performance events, including obedience, agility, conformation and herding. Krafcheck, who has been showing and training dogs since the age of 8, has successfully turned a lifetime passion into a life enriching career of working with people and their beloved canine companions.
