Toledo Neighborhood Block Watch Program

This block watch is a joke, they have selected people that they like and they do not care about the neighborhoods. I went to a leaders meeting this month and who ever this Mike Robie guy is he should be removed all he does is stir up problems within the block watch. The Chair of block watch does not care about anyone but her side of town which is the east side and I felt I wasted my time because all she cared about was who was going to walk in the East Toledo Christmas parade and ignored some serious issues that needed attention. I was embarrassed to be there especially when the Police Officers walked out and I heard others commenting that the block watch board is not doing what they are suppose to be doing they do not care and all they care about is the titles they hold. Then I recently discovered at this meeting that the faces of block watch resigned and this upsets me because one woman in particular inspired me and I wanted to learn how she does gets the people on board to have the passion for her community as she does. I will never go back but I will reach out to the person that so inspires me. To me these people in charge Lucinda Kinnan, and Mike Roby are not trust worthy enough to run the block watch program and they proved it at this meeting.
