Very disappointed with this taxi service. The taxi driver told me he didn't take credit cards. When online it advertises taking credit cards. In addition, the city ordinance requires all taxis to take credit cards. So I tried to pay with cash and he did not have any change. So clearly he was taking advantage of me. I called the taxi service number and they apologized and offered to give me a discount on my next use.

I love this service. I was suppose to pick up my kids at the airport at 10:25pm. I got sick and started trying to find some way to get them home to Tuscaloosa from the Birmingham airport a hour before they were suppose to arrive. They were so nice to us and gave us a good rate. As a Mother I felt safe for them to go with them. Thanks flat rate. I will use this service again.

Muhammad was awesome. Super friendly on the phone and his qoute for the ride was spot on. Plus he takes credit cards using his iPhone and it emailed me the receipt right then and there. This really is the best cab service I have used in bham!!

This is a great service - I called one time for a ride to the airport, and the driver was so polite and prompt that I now use Flat Rate Taxi regularly. They are always willing to come get me, and the experience is always pleasant. The cab is clean and one time, the driver even pulled into a gas station so I could grab a bottle of water for no extra charge.

This cab service is great. This was my second time using them and I called this morning with no advanced notice. Within 25 minutes I was at my destination. When I called the number to the taxi, I was greeted by the owner saying, "Hello, is this ?(and he used my name). That's what i call great customer service! The cab driver is the owner of the cab, so its well maintained and very clean. I used other cabs that were terrible and very expensive. Flat Rate Taxi was great though, always very punctual and really knows his way around Birmingham/Hoover. If you choose any other cab company in Birmingham, you're making a big mistake. With Flat Rate Taxi, they take the hassle out of travel. A+++
