Runick Metal Recycling Inc

I called this company to pick up a huge pile of scrap metal from our farm. They advertise in our local yellow pages. I specifically asked if they would come out to our town since they were not from here, but they advertised in our book. The receptionist said yes, absolutely. They came out within just a few days and loaded up two truckloads...not even all of our pile (we had a major farm cleanup!). After several weeks with no contact from them, I called to inquire where we were in the process of getting a check. The receptionist then...and only then...informed me that they have a hauling charge to come out, and that our two truckloads didn't even cover their hauling charge, so we get NOTHING. I feel very ripped off, and I will never use this company again. I would not have hired them had I been told they would charge us to show up, and that two overflowing truckloads of metal would have "no value," which is what she said was written on our ticket, and was the result of their hauling charge.
