Ross & Witmer

My husband & I contacted R&W last summer when we began having cooling issues. We were told two things: that our system, which had been replaced in 2011 by another contractor, had been installed improperly & that, as a result, we were losing large amounts of coolant. We asked R&W for a full evaluation of our system, and were advised that we replace existing units, "reinstall" the outdoor air handlers, and install a PVC pipe from the drip pan in our attic and onto the roof. We did this at a cost of $15,000, and while the company assured us that this would resolve all our problems, it was the beginning of much bigger nightmare. Our brand new system is STILL leaking coolant and when we contacted Ross & Witmer, they refused to repair the problem & told us that we couldn't "prove" that they had done the work to our system. We've had to hire another company to repair R&W's work--at a cost of $1800. If you're looking for a company that stands behind its work, you should look elsewhere.
