        What a SCAN!

        Bill was sent as a contractor to my house through my home warranty service on a Friday. He tells me he has to have the call out payment before he even looks at the unit. Told me the report was filed and that they wouldn't get approval until Monday. (It's 90+ degrees outside and I have no a/c all weekend). While Bill was here, he bad mouthed the warranty service I have saying that they may not even cover the motor that I need. He also tells me he has the part he needs to fix my a/c in his truck but can't do anything until he gets approval. After he leaves I call my home warranty service and they tell me they never received the report and had he submitted it, they could have given approval right away. My a/c could have been fixed instead of having to wait in the 90 degree heat for 2 more days until I can have someone else come out to take care of my unit.

        As an Authorized Service Provider for your (unamed)Insurance Company we are required to follow their Policies and Procedures. First, we must ask for your Co-pay / deductable upon arrival to your residence. Secondly, the report must be generated and submitted to the insurance company prior to any repair. We have no control over the approval process of the insurance company. Remember, we don't get paid if we don't dot every i, and cross every t for the insurance company. If your unhappy about the terms, I suggest you read the fine print in your original contract. Which by the way, we didn't sell. For more than 53 years Reeve Air Conditioning has conducted business in a professional manner following the Florida Air Conditioning Contractors Association Moral Code of Ethics.
