Perfection is the only word that comes to mind when describing Perfect Moving Co. Great service, freindly staff, efficent and speedy service. Would recommemd to family and friends.

We hired Perfect Moving Co. for a move from Grand Blanc to Lake Orion over Labor Day weekend, 2008.



They showed up an hour and a half late.



A flat rate travel fee was set up to pay for their drive from Wixom to Grand Blanc (they advertised 'serving the Clarkston area') and from Lake Orion back to Wixom. However, once they showed up, Perfect Moving Company asked for more travel money. Double the amount we agreed on, that I wrote down, prior to the move.



Extra fees were also charged for moving an oversized treadmill and two heavy boxes, and extra fees were also charged when they felt a number of items should be shrink wrapped...by the number of shrink wrapped items. In total, the extra fees were another $100 for travel time and another $130 for the treadmill, two oversized boxes and shrink wrapped items.



One helper was good while ther other moved slow--there were 3 guys total including the owner/crew leader.



So even if you think you're explicitly clear on the fees before you hire them, just be careful on the fee structure. There is a chance the fees could change mid-move, especially if you live in the outlying suburbs and their drive is longer than they thought coming from Wixom/Southfield. I would recommend that PMC invest in a GPS unit if they continue to serve the outlying suburbs. This is the 4th time I've hired a mover and the first time the fees have changed during the move. The fee structure was not consistent with what was negotiated over the phone.



I will say, though, that they moved us, nothing was broken or scratched, Terry (owner/crew leader) found a piece of jewelry near and dear to my wife and kindly returned it to her, and Terry helped to fix an entertainment center that was found damaged.



Fair movers, just a sliding fee structure that could easily be revised for potential future customers.

This company was horrible....they over charged us by $280.00 The only thing they did right was arrive when they said they would....it took them 10 hours to move a 3 bedroom ranch home in canton to a storage unit...they ran out of gas 2 times during the move...and i had to go and buy them gas and pay the owner $150.00 so he could stop in the middle of the move to go pay a personal bill. We moved a week before Thanksgiving. We moved into our new home the end of December, and found that trusting them to move our furniture into the storage was the wrong thing to do. They took from us A television, and numerous other items. They also broke our Pool table which they state they are suppose to be pros at moving..NOT!!!!.... and last but not least they stole our washing machine..which we have repeatedly been told by the owner that it was on his truck and he would return it to us...to no avail that has not happened. We will never reccommend or use this company. When moving we met a canton resident that advised us that she used them and said it was the worst experience that they ever had. No matter how much more money any other company costs, use them. We were looking to save $400.00 and with using Perfection and replacing the stolen and broken merchandise we ended up spending a total of $2000.00 for a short move. Thanks Perfection. You really made us feel comfortable trusting in YOU and any other movers!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The movers demonstrated professional skills that made me feel secure when they were handling my furniture. I had several concerns and the owner was so knowledgable in answering my questions, which reassured me everything would be handle in the best of care..
