Paradise Taxi

Great service, Dave is awesome!

Paradise Taxi & Tour was the absolute WORST taxi service I have ever had anywhere in the US! We travel frequently to the Seaside/WaterSound/Rosemary/Grayton Beach area and normally drive, however, we flew this time and had to rely on a cab service. Big Mistake! After calling Paradise Taxi to get a cab and quoted 20 min wait, I called back at 25 minutes to see how far he was. The cab driver, who was consequently the owner of the taxi company, proceeded to yell at me for calling again to ask and wasting his time. He arrived 10min later in a white suburban/conversion van that was absolutely disgusting and reeked of a dirty dog (which made sense later in the evening when he picked us up and had a huge dog in the van that jumped up on the seats, people riding in the van, and slobbered everywhere). There was no meter in the “cab” and no real rhythm or reason to his charges. Our destination was less than 2 miles straight down 30-A and he charged us $40.

Upon picking a group of 9 people up from the event later that night, again the owner, pulled up to square in Seaside and as we gathered all 9 people he proceeded to get out of the van and cuss the last two people out for not being ready and waiting for him. Mind you, there was a 30second-one minute lag time (at most) in his pulling up and everyone being loaded in the van. The unfortunate part of all of this is that they are seemingly the only taxi that services the greater Seaside area and we had to use their taxi two nights – same TERRIBLE service both nights. We actually decided did not go out the third night because no one wanted to use Paradise Taxi and we could not find another taxi service in the area. In such a nice area, I was shocked to have some of the worst taxi/cab service of my life. I plan to report Paradise Taxi & Tour to the Better Business Bureau.
