Overall
They are the worst!

I spent many months under the care of Dr. Darter and her staff. I can say with all honesty that this is the worst experience I have ever had with any business and especially with any doctor. Dr Darter may be a qualified doctor, however her staff (the ones you have to deal with every time you go in) are the worst. They have a very rude receptionist and an office manager who only seems to care about hiding as many fees as possible in document you sign. I usually don't take time to write reviews, but this case was so bad you need to know. Here are some of the reasons you should chose a different allergy clinic:

1. One of their nurses that I say frequently incorrectly showed me how to use an epi-pen. He had it upside down! Any familiar with allergy treatments know that an epi-pen is only used in case of a life threatening reaction. If used incorrectly you could die. This is Allergy 101 and for a nurse not to know how to use one is inexcusable for an allergy clinic.

2. After months of treatment when I was about to go on maintenance, the same nurse referred to above gave me the wrong schedule for future injections. As a result the doctor said that I would need to do-over a large part of the last several months of treatment and all of this would be at my cost!

3. When I finally realized I could do much better and I decided to seek treatment with another clinic, Dr Darter's staff refused to prepare my chart in a timely fashion so that I could continue my injections elsewhere. They have given me the run around for days and I still have no chart.

Conclusion: You have many allergy clinics to choose from in the metro area, why go to this one when you will likely have the same horrible experience?
