Since 1995, John Laughlin, M.Eng., P.E. has been providing engineering services in the fields of forensic, biomechanical and clinical engineering. As a licensed professional engineer, Mr. Laughlin has the technical acumen to comprehend the physics of an accident and the skills to reconstruct events based upon physical evidence and engineering principles. By applying the principles of anatomy and bio-mechanical engineering to the dynamics of an accident scenario, Mr. Laughlin can assess injury potential or causation as it pertains to the case. Mr. Laughlin is an experienced biomedical engineer who understands how humans interact with their environment and how forces, either externally applied or internally generated, affect the human body. During the course of his career, Mr. Laughlin has evaluated the biomechanical properties of orthopedic implants and played a key role in the testing and development of implantable neuromodulation devices. He has spent many hours in the operating room evaluating surgical implant techniques, training surgeons and providing engineering support. Mr. Laughlin has testified in deposition and trial on numerous occasions. He has qualified as an expert in the states of Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas, Georgia, Florida,
