‘Whether we spend one hour together or ten, my aim is always to capture amazing memories of your little ones that will last a lifetime. I like to do a lot of prep before we get to work – this should make sure we get the most from our time together. I look forward to finding out what you like and what you need from the session; are you preparing a book for grandparents, do you need a holiday card or are you planning a framed collage? It’s also extremely important to me to make sure your children enjoy themselves at the shoot, whether we’re in your home or on location. I take time to get to know them… relaxed and happy children make for the best subjects. It makes my day when little ones tug at my leg and say ‘Don’t go yet’ – that’s how I know I’ve done my job well. I can hardly wait to load the shots onto my computer and get started on the post-production. My goal is to give you beautiful photos of your family that you will fall in love with. - A New-York based newborn and children’s photographer with an artful eye and a modern edge, Jane Goodrich’s talent lies in her ability to capture a moment in time – no matter how quickly it passes. Born and raised in the UK, Jane spent the last ten years in Chicago as an advertising executive before deciding the time was right to launch her own business – and after just a few months of very deliberate gestation, Jane Goodrich Photography was born. Jane has spent her life behind the lens. She staged her first shoot at age 4 and spent much of her childhood as a not-so-patient subject for her sister’s photography business. A twin herself, Jane loves shooting other multiples and siblings. With every shot, she aims to let the individuality of each child shine through and capture the uniqueness of their relationship. Jane’s natural connection with babies and children combined with her genuine aesthetic intuition translates into award-winning style photos that are spontaneous, insightful, timeless and charming.

Jane helped me with my maternity shots for my first pregnancy- a time in my life that is certainly special, and I wanted to remember it, but also a time when my body may not be its best (or not a shape i am use to!). I was looking for photos that were elegant, that would show off my curves in a creative, tasteful way. I found that Jane has the unique ability to relax, helped me not think about the photo shoot itself, and bring out something beautiful. I was so surprised and pleased by the results of our photo shoot, and especially loved the moments she was able to capture with me and my husband together. She was able to catch moments, glances and smiles between us that were so quick, but truly genuine moments - they are my favorite of all the photos she took. And Jane was creative in her approach - we tried all different poses, with varying fabric and colors, and in different light. I brought a few samples and ideas of photos I liked, and she was open to trying all of them. She was patient, and fun to be around, and made the session overall enjoyable. She was also very professional, arrived on time, was efficient, and sent my edited photos back in a timely manner. I certainly plan on using her again for photos of my baby as he grows up, and I am so glad I decided to get maternity photos with her. Thank you Jane for bringing out the best in me! -Kelley
