I have stayed at this hotel for the past 3 years the week of new years and each time me and my three kids have a nice time. the lazy river is open, there is free bowling a couple of hotels down and there are quite a few things to do. the staff is friendly and even though they have been upgrading the hotel our room was ok and clean. its not the best hotel in myrtle beach, but for the money you can't beat it.
We stayed here 3 nights last week on vacation..It was very clean.The staff was very friendly..I read some bad reviews before I booked it and I'm glad I decided to go ahead with my plans anyway.Thank you Hotel Blue for a wonderful time at your resort!
WE BOOKED THIS HOTEL AND WE WERE SO DISAPPOINTED! THE AIR CONDITIONER IN OUR ROOM WAS BROKE, IT NEVER WAS FIXED PROPERLY. WE WORKED UP A SWEAT JUST BY SLEEPING! THE FRIDGE STUNK SO BAD THAT WORDS CAN NOT DESCRIBE IT. AFTER MANY COMPLAINTS, WE GOT AIR FRESHENER AS A SOLUTION! THE POOL WAS DIRTY ALL 5 DAYS, THE ROOM WAS STRAIGHTENED UP BUT YOU COULD TELL IT HADN'T BEEN CLEANED IN FOREVER. THE PILLOWS WERE OLD & LUMPY. THE PARKING WAS AWFUL. THEY DID NOT ENFORCE THEIR OWN POLICY OF HAVING A HOTEL PERMIT FOR PARKING, SO THEREFORE TRUE GUESTS WERE REQUIRED TO PARK ELSEWHERE. BY FAR THIS WAS THE WORST PLACE I'VE EVER STAYED!
