East Carolina Moving, LLC

I recently had to move from Greenville, NC to Boston MA. I contracted East Carolina Moving to help me out. None of my friends were available to help me out so I was in a bind. When I talked to Mark, I think he's the owner, he was very helpful and even threw in some extra boxes for my miscellaneous junk I hadn't packed yet. Mike and Andre showed up on time and were very efficient and professional. If I ever return to Eastern or Central NC, I will definitely use East Carolina Moving.

I hired this company to help me pack my moving truck when I was moving to another state from Greenville, NC. We agreed on their help from 9 - 11 a.m. on a Friday morning. At 10 a.m. they had not arrived, nor had I heard anything from the owner of the company, Mark. After calling Mark several times, he texted back that they would be there soon. They did not arrive until 11:34 a.m. (they were 2.5 hours late). Joe and Dane arrived and did a fabulous job. As an explanation, Mark said that they had another job that morning. When we asked his employees, they said that they didn't even know that they were supposed to be helping us! Mark didn't schedule us. As compensation, Mark gave us $15 dollars off and yelled at us on the phone. He felt that we had no right to ask for a discount since his employees showed up and didn't break anything while they were packing the truck. I strongly advise choosing a more professional company if you are moving. Apparently being on time, being open for communication, and keeping your word is something this company does not find important.
