Pregnancy
The mommy makeover features a combination of body contouring procedures that restore a woman's body to its pre-pregnancy appearance. Pregnancy and childbirth change the body shape, skin elasticity, fat distribution, and muscle tone in most mothers, but the mommy makeover is designed to counteract these physical changes. While diet and exercise can counteract some of these changes, the mommy makeover is the ideal way to correct all of these imperfections at the same time.
Labor and Delivery

Radiation Therapy
Breast reconstruction can be performed immediately after mastectomy in the same operative setting or as a delayed procedure, anywhere from several weeks to years following mastectomy. Different circumstances such as the likelihood of needing additional treatments like radiation therapy and certain characteristics of the breast tumor help determine whether immediate or delayed reconstruction is best for you. Breast reconstruction typically requires more than one operative procedure, with additional surgeries to optimize symmetry and rebuild the nipple areolar complex. It could take a full year to reach the end point of breast reconstruction.

Reconstructive Surgery
If you desire a different size or type of breast implant or have problems related to prior breast implant placement, breast revision surgery may be required. Over time some people form scar tissue, also called capsules, around their breast implants. This can cause distortion of the breast, discomfort, and the breasts can feel hard. Removing this scar tissue (capsulectomy) or surgically releasing the scar tissue (capsulotomy) can restore breasts that are soft and symmetrical and appear more natural. Other issues such as implant rippling and implant rupture may also be improved with revision surgery. Most of the time incisions can be kept within the original scars. Depending on the age of the original implants, it may be advisable to exchange them with new implants. Gynecomastia
Male breast reduction is performed in men with gynecomastia - a condition of breast overdevelopment or enlargement. Gynecomastia may result from atypical hormonal changes, certain hereditary conditions, some types of medications, steroid use, metabolic disorders, organ dysfunction, the use of certain drugs and some tumors. Gynecomastia can be a normal finding, particularly during adolescence, and often resolves on its own. When it does not resolve, it can be a source of emotional discomfort and may cause embarrassment and self-consciousness.
