After the August 2013 flood in Manitou that destroyed our office, it was discovered that our original linoleum floor had asbestos. Because removal was cost-prohibitive, we spoke with Owen of Discount Concrete about encapsulating our floor in concrete instead. We found out it was an acceptable mitigation solution via our Regional Building Dept. Owen’s guys came in and poured a cap of colored concrete over the floor and it has held up perfectly. They worked fast and the job area was always accessible and clean. It turned out beautiful and got us back in our office after the flood disaster had robbed us of productivity. We have used Discount Concrete for other jobs since and are always happy with their work.
