Maine Potato Growers, Inc. is a diversified agricultural supply and marketing cooperative that serves the needs of Northern Maine potato growers and the Maine blueberry industry. Established in 1932, the cooperative has a proud history of serving growers in Aroostook County. Marketing activities consist of the purchase and resale of potatoes and grain. Supply division activities consist of sales of agricultural supplies and services including: crop inputs and services; bags; farm equipment; light duty vehicles; petroleum products; and retail sales that include hardware, gasoline and trucks. The company distributes agricultural chemicals from a variety of companies. Only agricultural members can be members of the cooperative. Each active member owns one share of the voting common stock. Maine Potato Growers, Inc. is headquartered in Presque, Isle, Maine.
